High Intensity Discharge lamps or better known as H.I.D. lights are designed to give a greater amount of light output per watt of electricity input compared to standard fluorescent and incandescent lamps. HID lights do not have a filament to break or degrade, meaning they last up to 10 times longer than standard halogen lights. HID lights provide the brightest illumination available and increase peripheral visibility up to 70% more than halogen bulbs and provide up to 3x more illuminated coverage than stock lighting. What this means is more visibility during night time driving, for a safer commute for you and your passengers by providing a better overall view of the roadway and the ability to see upcoming objects quickly and more clearly.

This kit includes one pair of ballast ONLY. These are great for just replacement of bad ballast instead of having to pay for a full kit. If replacing a ballast from a factory equipped HID vehicle, adapter cables are REQUIRED in order for these ballast to accept factory HID bulbs. Please refer to our HID accessories for more information. Slim size ballasts are also available for easy mounting in almost any location. HID Xenon ballast come with a limited life time warranty.
