The Tokico D-Spec Series adjustable shock is a multi-use product that is the result of sophisticated piston and valving design. In addition, it utilizes a unique variable-aperture bypass, which is controlled by an adjustable slide valve. The Tokico D-Spec Series shock adjustments change both rebound and compression damping simultaneously. Between maximum soft and hard settings, the D-Spec is infinitely adjustable. The Tokico D-Spec Series adjustable shock absorbers are designed for street suspension applications, allowing the user to tune their vehicles handling for a variety of driving environments.

Very few original shocks have the damping force necessary to properly control sport lowering springs. Even if they work reasonably well when first installed, the higher rate springs will cause the factory shocks to wear much faster. This in time will promote poor handling and ride characteristics. Tokico D-Spec Series shocks/struts are designed to handle the stress and forces applied during harsh driving conditions such as track or drag racing and still retain excellent ride quality and performance. Tokico D-Spec Series shocks/struts carry a limited lifetime warranty on all their performance shocks. Each set includes a manual explaining the adjustment process as well as covering suspension tuning tips. It is always recommended when replacing shocks/struts to replace them in pairs (e.g. both front or both rear).
