The demand for a performance muffler, yet stylish, is what Tanabe delivered with their Tanabe Concept G exhaust system. Though the primary design of the Tanabe Concept G exhaust system was to maximize exhaust flow and efficiency, it also had to operate according to state noise regulations that limit sound output. This meant that sound levels could not exceed 95db. This obstacle was achieved by the innovative design and use of Advantex packing material. The Tanabe Concept G mufflers use Advantex material mainly for its effective sound suppression ability with less material while still maintaining extremely high flow characteristics. This was very important in the development of this exhaust due to the interest of a more discreet, quiet operating performance exhaust system The Tanabe Concept G exhaust system has the performance benefits of a race developed system and still operates under 93db.

The craftsmanship found on Tanabe exhaust continues on with the Concept G series systems. Manufactured with high grade SUS304 stainless steel, this maintains durability for years of operation. The SUS304 steel shines up to a mirror finish giving a stylish, sporty appearance. The use of SUS304 is carried on to the exhaust piping with a wall diameter of 1.2mm. The thinner wall allows for more weight reduction but did not sacrifice durability. Further weight reduction can be found with the use of hollow exhaust hangers and pressed SUS304 exhaust flanges.

All Tanabe Concept G exhaust systems utilize the straightest exhaust piping possible. By reducing the amount of bends the exhaust piping has, exhaust gases can flow at its optimum efficiency. But to further improve exhaust flow characteristics, mandrel bent piping was used as well to minimize restrictions.

The Tanabe Concept G exhaust system features an angle cut exhaust tip that emits a clean, low, deep tone that is both pleasant and aggressive at all RPM ranges. Even though this exhaust was developed for motorsports, this exhaust is fully streetable and built to be under 93db when used and installed as a factory replacement exhaust.

Every Tanabe Concept G catback exhaust will include all necessary hangers, nuts, bolts and gaskets for installation. Each system is manufactured as a bolt on kit so there will be no welding or modifications required. The Tanabe Concept G catback exhaust is covered by Tanabes 24 month warranty.
