The construction process first begins with a one-piece grade A carbon fiber sheet. Multiply sheets of carbon fiber put together will show broken lines and patterns. This is a common practice for cheaply made carbon fiber products. What also makes Seibon carbon fiber products stand out from the rest is the integration of the carbon sheet into the actual mold. Other manufactures wrap the sheet over the skeleton which in time will break and split. Seibon carbon fiber products also feature rolled edges which prevent fraying and a solid underbody skeletal construction on their hoods and trunks. The finished product is then urethane clear coated for a shiny, wet look finish. Clear coating opposed to gel coating offers better durability and optimum protection against cracking and sunlight.

All Seibon carbon fiber products are test fitted before and after production to ensure the best possible fit. All parts are manufactured around OEM specifications, so you know fitment will be very close to factory specs. Because of the way carbon fiber is manufactured, no aftermarket body part will fit exactly like OEM. It is normal that you may have to do some minor adjustments for a good fit. Please note that vehicles that have had any body work done, more adjustments or even modifications may be required. Seibon does not guarantee fitment on these types of vehicles.

Seibon carbon fiber products will not come with any installation hardware or instructions. Professional installation is highly recommended. Seibon recommends hood pins on all their carbon fiber hoods for your protection. Seibon offers a limited 6 month warranty on clear coat finish and guarantees fitment for all US-modeled vehicles, unless otherwise noted.
