Valve train reliability is one of the most important aspects when building a motor. Not only do these components need to be strong, they should be lightweight as well. This is nothing new to the engineers at Blueprint Racing. Their Dual Valve Spring kits and made with the finest materials to prevent any type of failure. Blueprint Valve Springs are made from chrome silicone alloy, giving them the strength to handle high lift and RPM even under extreme conditions such as drag or track racing. Blueprint valve springs can be used on stock or aftermarket valves and keepers and are stronger enough to work on most aftermarket stage 2 and stage 3 camshafts.

Blueprint Racing valve spring retainers are manufactured with high grade Ti-17 forged Titanium. The construction with anything less would result in premature wear and failure. The use of titanium also makes it 40% lighter then factory steel retainers. Blueprint Racing Titanium Retainers are also stronger, giving them the ability to handle high lift and RPM. Their strength also comes with the precision construction and very close tolerances so that each titanium retainer is fitted exactly to the valve spring to eliminate unnecessary wear due to excessive rubbing.

Upgrade valve springs and retainers are mandatory when used with high performance camshafts. Blueprint Racing recommends the use of their valve train components when paired with their camshafts. Both have been specifically engineered and designed to work in conjunction for optimum power gains.
